This is the best practices framework we use:
The Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) outlines best practice and reflects contemporary early childhood research and theory.
It provides guidance and parameters for quality practice and it is intended that educators’ practice is informed by it. EYLF encourages everyone who works with young children to see ourselves as pedagogical leaders.
If you work with young children you are responsible for using the Framework.
The term "pedagogy" refers to the holistic nature of early childhood educators’ professional practice. Pedagogical leaders take an active role in promoting early childhood educators’ practice, especially those aspects that involve building and nurturing relationships, curriculum decision making,
teaching and learning.
You can learn about the EYLF in this PDF document from the
Department of Education (English)
