Armenian

Armenian Program

Happy Kids was established by the Armenian Relief Society of Australia, Sosseh Chapter in 1986. It was originally set up to support many Armenian families that lived in Sydney. We still have many Armenian families that send their children to our centre and Armenian staff, plus we embrace the cultural diversity from the community of children who attend our centre.

The Armenian culture is embraced throughout the daily program, helping children learn the Armenian language. We also have an Armenian group time each day where the children learn Armenian songs, read Armenian story books and learn about the Armenian culture from Armenian staff.

In addition to this we respect the uniqueness of each family and embrace diverse cultures through the centre.
